very good all round experience
heating system in room not very effective - cold
staff were very friendly and helpfull the breakfast was more than enough and the room was very nice
could not open window
Very friendly and helpful staff especially Darren at reception. Put our daughter's Soya milk in hotel fridge. Everything went smoothly. Great place to stay. Tom Tom took us to other side of road on to M40 so be careful.
easy to find pub next door was fab
the small size room for breakfast service and the fact we paid for breakfast (included in price of hotel room) and there was no where to sit and all the was out for hot food was sausages and scambled had to go elsewhere for breakfast instead so effectivly paid twice for breakfast. also i entered my card details on site and then i had to have my card swiped on booking in and again on check out is this really nessery? giving my card details 3 times could i have not just done it online and be charged on check out?
very clean staff very attentive warm anc comfortable the room we stayed in was very quiet with no nois from other rooms or from outside
the hotel car park is pay and display on arrival our car park ticket was scanned by the receptionist and after paying £6.00 we were told this would let our car in and out as many times as we wanted in fact this failed on every occaision forcing us to go back in to the hotel and have the card rescanned
Breakfast served early on weekend particularly when leisure/business dictates that
Price changed on week of booking nearly £10
The staff were excellent very welcoming and good information re restaurants to visit in Warwick. I visit hotels on a weekly basis and would say that the young man on reception was the most helpful that I have encountered in a long time. He was a credit to Holiday Inn!
It would have been nice to have a bath as well as a shower in the bathroom
The carvery next door and access to the motorway. The young lad who worked behind the bar was very friendly and helpful
The hot breakfast was just sausage.scrambled egg and beans as I do not like any of these I thought I would have coffee toast and jam/marmalade well I wasn't that lucky I asked the unhelpful young boy where was the jam or marmalade he replied we have ran out! how can you run out of preservatives ! My partner who decided to have sausage and beans had to eat them from a bread plate as there were no large plates once again we asked the unhelpful lad where are the larger plates he replied we have run out of them! then when my partner went to the cutlery tray they were no forks again we had to ask where are the forks the lad did go get some and came back 5 minutes later with a fork but by this time the sausage and beans were cold. I have to say though the price we paid for the hotel was very fair if I had paid the full tariff I would have been very unhappy. There is a carvery next door where you can get a very nice meal and the hotel is well situated for the motorway
Great hotel, staff and good breakfast.
A little bit far to walk into Warwick all the time and very expensive taxis. Not the fault of the hotel though.
This was a stop over for us so only one night. The rooms were clean and dog friendly. There was a nice area outside where we could let the dog off to stretch his legs. close to Warwick Castle and a short drive to Startford. Pub next to hotel served nice food and staff were friendly.
Being charged for parking without being told.
Hotel staff very good. Breakfast good.
Heating very hit and miss and noisy
close to motorway and therefore noise of traffic all night
Friendly welcome by receptionist narinda. Excellent location and comfortable spacious rooms.
Unfortunately I left it too late to secure a twin room. This however was compensated by a sofa bed in the room. Well done holiday inn express.
Staff very helpful as we were a group of 10 including small children and adults, plenty of sitting areas and access to more tea and milk when we wanted more cups of tea. Easy entrance and plenty of parking space.
1 of the rooms smelt of smoke, didn't say anything until we left as one of our party was only used to 5star hotels and she hadn't noticed it so we didn't want it to reflect badly on us. Also notice about putting trays in special area at breakfast time not very visible and our elder son and family got told off for not clearing their table, so not too happy.
